In an effort to further cripple the American people, the Biden regime is now funding “crack pipes” kits for addicts “to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and any illicit substance” (Washington Free Beacon, 2022). A $30 million grant program, overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services, will begin in May of 2022 and will prioritize “underserved minorities”. Absolutely appalling, in this disaster of an administration that they can continue to surprise us with their failed woke leftist policies and new ways to destroy Americans of all walks of life. Those struggling with addiction need proper treatment and therapy, not to have their addiction enabled by the U.S. government. And those who distribute and take advantage of those struggling should be prosecuted and charged criminally.
This is the type of outrageous federal action the state legislature needs to work against. Our West Virginia Attorney General should collaborate with other states’ Attorney Generals to take swift and decisive action to prevent this type of federal drug pushing. We need to ensure that any private entities engaged in supporting this activity are held legally accountable and charged under any appropriate statutes. The state legislature should be passing laws to make this type of activity illegal under West Virginia code.
