Due to a brilliant effort by our Attorney General, Patrick Morrisey, the Supreme Court has again reinforced federalism and the rule of law, not bureaucracy. The Supreme Court said only Congress can directly wreck our electrical grid – unelected bureaucrats can’t do so. The result of this case will hopefully allow West Virginia and other energy producing states the leeway to continue to ensure we have some ability to power our country, at least for the short term. The lunatic Biden regime, however, has stated they will try to come up with other ways to destroy our power grids and economy.
As usual, the coward Roberts, one of the worst Chief Justice’s in history, screwed up the decision by not overruling the Chevron Doctrine, a bizarre legal doctrine that maintains that unelected bureaucracies can basically originate their own rules if the original legislation is somewhat ambiguous. That was never the intent of the Constitution, and allows the federal bureaucracy, acting as an unelected legislative, executive and judicial entity, to develop rules often contrary to the interests of the legislation.
Typically Democrat Party leaders are immediately trying to pass legislation to institutionalize the EPA’s power grab in order to further punish West Virginians and other Americans. Attorney General Morrisey will have to continue the fight against the Leftist fanatics.
