Justice Department Kills Patriotic Protestor

Matthew Perna was a Patriot who attended the January 6 protest and entered the Capitol building through an open door.  He did nothing wrong other than trespass.  The Justice Department, in an effort to persecute Patriotic Americans, hounded him, and got a pliant and corrupt judge to convict him and was preparing to sentence him to 20 years and a quarter million dollar fine for the 20 minutes he spent in our Capitol building.  Last week, Matthew was informed that the ‘Justice’ Department was piling additional charges on that would result in an even longer sentence.  As a result, he committed suicide on 25 February.

This ‘Justice’ Department would make Hitler’s Nazi judges blush with embarrassment.  This ‘Justice’ Department has done virtually nothing regarding the hundreds of riots by ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter during the past two years.  There is no equal justice under law for Patriots.

I have called upon our West Virginia Attorney General to:

  • Investigate the conditions under which any West Virginians are being held in connection with the January 6, 2021 protests on Capital Hill, and whether the evidence and circumstances warrant the charges, incarceration, and the conditions of the incarceration.
  • Direct non-cooperation by West Virginia law enforcement with politically-motivated federal investigations, prosecutions, or activities.
  • Direct West Virginia law enforcement to investigate any federal law enforcement activities apparently undertake for political motives that impact the people and specific citizens of West Virginia.

Matthew Perna’s death is a tremendous tragedy and an outrage, and is the type of tyranny the Biden regime is inflicting upon the American People.  It is time for our State Government to stand up against tyranny and do something.
